WHY LOSING MORE BODYFAT MIGHT NOT BE THE ANSWER TO YOUR PERFECT BODY SHAPE


Fat loss can only reveal the shape you already have.

For many, shape is most effectively created by building muscles through resistance training (lifting weights).

Losing fat might not create more shape if there isn’t muscle to give shape.

So, how do you build muscle to get in shape?

You go into the gym with a mindset to get stronger over time(progressive overload). This is generally considered the most effective strategy for muscle building.

It’s likely that the more muscle development you have, the more of an ‘in shape’ look you will possess.

Well developed glutes and quads create a tapering effect into the waist, making the waist appear smaller. The same thing goes for development in the upper body tapering down making the waist look smaller). And if you gain 5 pounds of fat on holiday, you might still look in shape becuase you built that muscle to have shape.

Anyway, guys, Just my thoughts. If you are always trying to lose the last bit of fat, perhaps it might be worth considering a dedicated phase of muscle building. You might find yourself looking more awesome than you imagine.
